Wow guys I'm so sorry for not writing any journals lately...Just had so much stuff going on 'round the base (aka a crap ton of problems irl), one thing lead to another and things just sorta exploded out of control. I am still alive though, so don't fret!

I'd like to let you guys know that as of a while back I'm now mostly employed on the Red team, but on a rare occasion I might end up switching to Blu, but it won't last for long, perhaps a day or two at the max.

So as you guys have probably noticed I myself am a rather big fan of Team Fortress 2, I love the game and its entirety, however I am not obsessed with it. I also love youtube, and when two good things come together something awesome is bound to happen.

Well here's what went down:

A while back I searched across youtube to see if any of the people involved in Tf2 had a youtube, and one of them did. (<- a link btw)

Who is this you might ask? Well, it's Nathan Vetterlein of course.

Okay so what's so special about that? I'll tell you why.
He's the voice actor of the Scout.

You might be wondering, yeah okay how's that amazing? In one of his video's he mentioned having a twitch.tv, this is a place where gamers stream, well, games, amongst other things. I got to watch him play League of Legends. He doesn't use a cam but he does have a mic, so that alone in itself is pretty awesome.

Now, this is where it gets utterly epic.

Monday he played Team Fortress 2, and guess what? I got to play with him. I got to play Team Fortress 2 with THE Scout. What gets even better? I donated some money to his paypal/chip-in thing and got a PERSONAL shout-out from him. He thanked me and said he really appreciated it. Yesterday he played Torchlight II, I got to play with him AGAIN! It's such an honor man, words can't even describe it.

Sure I'm kinda fangirling a bit, but just because he voices Scout isn't the real reason this is all so awesome. I mean, he's part of one of the most played games in history, not to mention he was also in L4D as the crazy church guy. He's pretty much famous, and that alone is just mind blowing.

So yeah, it made my day. No, it made my life.

So honored.

Sorry for the lack of journal posting guys. I know it's been a week or two but I've been pretty ate up with a sinus infection. Medic told me to take it easy and just hang back at the base in the mean time. He didn't want me makin' the other boys sick, which I understand. Pyro's been making me tea and bringing me food, considering he...or she wears a suit all the time, less able to catch the bug I guess.

What sucks even more is the Administrator cut back on my pay the whole time i've been sick, I don't mind because I still got plenty left over from previous matches, so it's not like I'm losing out much.

It's come to my attention that PainisCupcakeplz's birthday is tomorrow. I really wish I could get ya somethin' nice Chuckles, but I haven't been able to do much while sick.

So yeah that's about it. Just trying to get better while the boys take care of me, it's kinda sweet really .

The ever epic who was previously kind enough to help me get a Balloonicorn, gave me the Strange sniper Rifle I had been looking for and made me this image i.imgur.com/QkaOd.jpg . Snipes said he'd teach me when he got the chance so now I'll be able to take those lessons!

With some money that was gifted to me I was able to get the Reindoonicorn along with Killing Floor .


Here on the base Christmas went well, the gifts arrived on time and I was able to give everybody a little something. Soldier got some new boots, Medic got a new medi-gun, Demo was happy with the bottle of Scrumpy I gave him, Snipes got a new knife, and in his words ' have a gander at this lil beauty ', Scout got a few new hats, Pyro had insisted I didn't get them anything but instead I got them a Balloonicorn which they were utterly ecstatic about, Heavy was happy I got him some sandviches, I gave Engie some new wrenches, his were kinda gettin old, and finally the Spook got a Dead Ringer and a new Sapper.

Everybody was pretty happy at the base, I myself included with all the gifts I received, and I'm thankful for everything! I hope everybody had a good holiday!
